1. Introduction

Digivoox FZE, the operator of Inkami Tattoo ("we", "us", or "our"), is the data controller. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our creative photo overlay application.

2. Information We Collect

We do not require user accounts to use the basic features of Inkami Tattoo. The images you upload are processed locally in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you explicitly choose to share or save them through third-party services.

We also collect limited usage statistics to improve the Studio: which Elements, Templates and Gallery designs you place on the artboard or export, your interface language, whether you are on a phone or a desktop, the country derived from your IP address, and the exact words you search when a search returns no results. Where you are signed in, these records are linked to your account so your own activity stays consistent across devices.

We use this data only to understand which designs and languages matter, and to fix problems. We do not sell it. We do not use it for advertising unless you accept advertising cookies — where consent is required, only visitors who accept in our cookie banner are measured for advertising.

3. How We Use Your Information

Any images you upload are used solely to generate your requested artwork. We do not use your images for training AI models, marketing, or any other purpose without your explicit consent.

4. Data Sharing

Inkami Tattoo is the data controller for personal data processed through the App. We share data only with: service providers (hosting, analytics, support tooling); Google LLC, for advertising measurement through Google Ads (which cookies are used for depends on your cookie choice — see Google's privacy policy); our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing; professional advisers; and authorities where required by law.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the service or subscription you requested; (b) legitimate interests, such as securing the service, preventing fraud, and improving our product using anonymised usage data; (c) your consent, for optional features such as advertising measurement (via the cookie banner, changeable at any time via "Cookie settings") and marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time; and (d) compliance with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements handled together with our Merchant of Record, Paddle.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Images you upload are processed in your browser and are not retained on our servers. Account and subscription data is kept while your account is active and for the period required by tax and accounting laws (typically up to 7 years for transaction records handled by Paddle). When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; request restriction of processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; request data portability (receive your data in a structured, commonly used format); and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
